The photos include representative images from all the states of Brazil, highlighting important industries and cities, and native peoples, including vaqueros from the Northeast, native Brazilians from the Amazon region, raft fishermen, "jangadeiros," from Ceará, coffee growers from Sao Paulo. There are photos of buildings and spaces of the cities of Brasilia--the Praca dos Tres Poderes, and Palacio da Alvorada--and Sao Paulo--Museu de Arte Moderna, Praca Ramos de Azevedo, as well as the Ministerio da Educacao, Enseada de Botafogo, Estadio do Maracanã, and statue of Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro. The album also includes views of baroque churches in Salvador (Igreja de Sao Francisco), Rio (Igreja Candelaria), and Minas Gerais (Igreja Ouro Prêto). Several of Brazil's important industries are represented: a hydroelectric plant in Minas Gerais, textile factory and pharmaceutical plant in Rio de Janeiro, and oil well in Bahia
