A1.D623d 1497) bound in contemporary oak boards, with blind-tooled pigskin spine; original engraved brass catch and clasp; gatherings of first title reinforced with strips of ms. vellum leaves. Titles of all four works in early ms. hand on upper oak board; Polydore Vergil's name in ms. on top edges of book block. In modern beige linen and vellum clamshell box, with gold-stamped box title "Bruni. De temporibus suis"; velcro closure. Purchase, Bruce McKittrick, 1988.
