Summary
First ed. of Bianco's description of his travels from Venice to the Holy Land in 1527. His first chapter supplies detailed advice to the pilgrim about the journey, including costs and contacts along the way. He himself left Venice on July 18, 1527, and sailed to Jaffa, via Zante and Rhodes. On his return from Palestine during the winter of 1527, he traveled to Cyprus, Rhodes, and Crete, and then sailed up the Dalmatian coast through Zante and Corfu. He also describes Damascus, Beirut, Tripolis, and Alexandria though it seems that he did not actually visit these places; cf. Navari
