Bound in old [19th century?] gray-blue bubble-grain cloth over brown leather boards; blind-stamped borders; gold-stamped spine title; red and white paper shelf-mark label "3178" on spine; red ownership inkstamp on recto of first leaf of the library of Fahri Bilge, who was director of the Kayseri branch of the Turkish Agricultural Bank, the Ziraat Bankasi ("Fahri Bilge Kütüphanesi"). Acquired from the estate of Fahri Bilge through the efforts of Professor Andreas Tietze of the UCLA Department of Near Eastern Languages, Istanbul, 1967; see UCLA Librarian volume 20, Numbers 4-5 (April-May 1967), pages 17-18.
  • Spec. Coll. copy 2: imperfect; leaf preceding leaf 5 damaged, with significant loss of text. Includes all five double-page engravings, hand-colored in red, orange, yellow, green and blue watercolors.
