All copies of this edition have been signed by each of the contributors, many of whom have worked with Yannis Tsarouchis in film, stage, and the book arts, while others are owners or admirers of his work
  • Text group includes a preface by Melina Mercouri, Minister of Culture and Sciences of Greece 1981-1989; a biography of Yannis Tsarouchis; a personal statements by the artist; and tributes to the artist by many of his friends and admirers, including writers and poets Reynolds Price, Sir Stephen Spender, John Updike, and James Merrill; filmmakers Michael Cacoyannis, Jules Dassin, and Costa Gavras; artist David Hockney; photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, and many others
