Impressum Venetiis: P[er] Ioa[n]ne[m] de Tridino alias Tacuinu[m], anno D[omi]ni M.D.IX die.xx. aprilis [1509 April 20]; and 2) Homeri poetarum clarissimi Odyssea de erroribus Ulyxis. Argentoraci [Strassburg]: Ex officina Ioannis Schotti : Impe[n]sis vero egregij I.V.Doctoris Georgij Maxilli al's Übelin episcopalis curiae Argen. signatoris, ad nonu[m] Kal. Iunij anno a natali christiano M. D. X. [1510 May 24]. Bound in contemporary half blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards; pigskin decorated with rows of tooled pomegranate ornaments; spine reinforced with vellum leaf of early manuscript waste, with script in brown and capitals in red and blue ink; two pair of brass and leather clasps and catches (one pair intact). Several contemporary manuscript notes and annotations throughout. Late 19th- or early 20th-century ownership inscription on second front endleaf of Dr. Franz Daffner; small square blue and white bookplate of W[ynne] R.H. Jeudwine on front pastedown, featuring a lobster centerpiece, and the initials "W", "R", "H", and "J" in each corner; bookplate on front pastedown of Fort Hill, the home of Leonard Baskin; his ownership inscription on rear pastedown reads "L[eonard] & L[isa] Baskin 1968." In modern beige cloth and ocher (tan) leather clamshell case; gold-stamped spine title "Gellikus. Noctes Atticae." Purchased for UCLA by A. and C. Sokol, Bloomsbury Book Auctions, Sept. 18, 1984.
