Ownership inscription on front endleaf of S. Sydney-Turner, a contemporary of Leonard Woolf, and member of the Bloomsbury Group, although he spent his whole life as a British civil servant in the Treasury department; small printed booklabel in upper left corner of front pastedown of Majl Ewing. Housed in protective blue cloth phasebox and matching blue cloth slipcase. From the library of Majl and Carmelita Rosecrans Ewing. Acquired through the generosity of the Drs. John Paul and Mary Ewing, The Friends of the UCLA Library, and the UCLA Parent's Fund.
