Angus from pictures and drawings by the most eminent artists, with descriptions of each view. Islington: Published by W. Angus, Feby. 1, 1787; [A collection of select views from the different seats of the nobility and gentry in the Kingdom of Ireland. Engraved by Thomas Milton. London: J. Walter for the author, 1783-1786]
  • Clark Library copy: The seats of the nobility and gentry by Watts has [142] pages and plates I-LXXV in first volume and [36] p. and plates LXXVI-LXXXIV in second volume. Lacks plates XXXIII-XXXVI. Plates LII and LVIII bound before plates XLIX and XXV. Many of the original descriptions have been updated in a variety of early hands with details of the current owner or fate of the house (burned down, demolished, converted to church property, etc.). Index of properties on front endpaper of both volumes. Plates and descriptive text are hand-numbered at top of each leaf. Inscribed Colonel Woodgate, C.B. on title pages of Watts' and Angus engravings. Bound uniformly in orange diapered cloth with calf spine; title in gilt on spine, marbled endpapers.
