- Spec. Coll. copy: No. 34/40. Each part enclosed in letterpressed envelope made of handmade rag paper, hand-addressed and mailed to the Department of Special Collections. Each envelope is printed with one word of the title "The Hand Correspondence." Part 2 envelope includes a cream cloth ribbon with a note printed on magenta paper that reads "tie books together giftstyle w* ribbon." A gold charm of a hand is attached to the ribbon with black thread. Books made of papers of various types and sizes with cutouts, flaps, rubber stamped images. Vol. 1: Dark purple grey envelope, printed in black with the word "The." Mauve illustrated wrappers, stamped in metallic silver and black. Vol. 2: Army green envelope, printed in black with the word "Hand." Blue wrappers, stamped in black, mounted with an image of a head on white glossy paper. Vol. 3. Tan envelope, printed in black with the word "Correspondence." Cream wrappers stamped in black with a cutout of a keyhole. Purchase, Never Mind the Press, 1990.
