  • Inscriptions and annotations in pencil and black, brown, or blue iink throughout.
  • A keepsake or forget-me-not for "Susan"; manuscript verses written on verso of most plates are signed by female friends and dated from towns in Massachusetts, 1851. One inscribed "To Mary". Several dated from Pierce Academy, Middleboro.
