- These titles dated and printed earlier (1934) by Stricker, a printer in Los Angeles during the 1930s, who worked for Jake Zeitlin at one point. Stricker probably assembled these "fugitive" unbound leaves in a portfolio with the title "Some fugitive leaves sacred & profane...." at a later date, probably around 1940 when he closed his shop and sold his printing equipment to another Los Angeles printer, Ward Ritchie
