Summary
"The photographs of trees presented herein grew out of repeated journeys made by the photographer to Africa....moving through Africa, in following pilgrimages both personal and collective, it became clear that just as the music had behind it Faith, and behind Faith the People, so behind the People lies Nature. Moving through the landscape while pursuing these discoveries led to the encounters with all the trees depicted in this volume"--Notes, leaf [54]
