  • Spec. Coll. copy (with call no. Z233.I8 M28to 1595): 19th-century [?] brown and black sprinkled paper over mottled calf boards; spine damaged; paper label at base of spine; mottled red edges. Bookplate on front pastedown of the Halberstam Collection of the library of Mayer Sulzberger, formerly the property of S.J. Halberstam; the Sulzberger library eventually went to the Jewish Theological Seminary whose purple deaccession inkstamp appears on front endleaf. Purchase, A. Sokol, 1998.
  • Spec. Coll. copy (with call no. BM520.7.M87t 1595): bound in old vellum over paper boards; manuscript spine title "Torat ha-adam. XLIV;" paper shelf-mark label at base of spine; edges sprinkled red. Manuscript notes on front endleaf and title page. Purple ownership inkstamp of Romanian-British scholar Moses Gaster on title-page and verso of last leaf ("M. Gaster"). Gaster's extensive collection of Hebrew, Samaritan, and Slavonic manuscripts was purchased by the John Rylands Library (now part of the University of Manchester) in 1954.
  • Author's preface follows poem by Leone da Modena.
