  • When open, pamphlet is a 6-panel sheet printed on both sides. The entire "inner" side is a detailed map of "Lines of the Pacific Electric Railway in Southern California." Inset contains brief description of three tours, and advises travelers to consult "beautiful illustrated folders [that] give all details; ask for one at information bureaus." The six panels of the "outer" side comprise a title panel, illustrated with a drawing of a trolley in a citrus grove with snow-capped mountains in the background; a back panel listing "Points of Special Interest for the Southern California Visitor" (Beach resorts, Mountain resorts, Foot-hills and canyons, Los Angeles parks, Industries, and Missions); a brief description of the Pacific Electric Railway; with the remaining three panels each describing a trolley trip: Old Mission-Balloon Route trip to Pasadena, Cawston Ostrich Farm, Mission San Gabriel and National Soldier's Home in Sawtelle; Orange Empire trolley trip to Covina, Etiwanda, Fontana to Riverside; and Mount Lowe, from Los Angeles to Ye Alpine Tavern atop the mountain
