Summary expansion
The first nine cigar bands have small gilt medallions in the center containing portraits of members of the Spanish royal family (C.L. y Cia.); Edward VII (José Gener, Lopez Hnos., María Guerrero, Bances y Lopez); and Otto von Bismarck (H. Upmann). Other cigar bands feature coats of arms, commercial logos, and monograms, from companies such as Romeo y Julieta, José Gener, Partagas, Marqués de Pinar del Río, Cifuentes,and J. Cuesta. The large cigar box labels are illustrated in colors and gilt by Quintero y Hno., J.F. Rocha ("La Gloria Cubana"), Ramon Allones, and J[osé]J[iménez] P[erez] Fabrica de Tabacos Manly. The postcards depict a street scene in Calle Obispo in Havana Vieja (from the Rotograph Co., active 1904-1911) and a Carnaval parade in Havana on the Malecón (published by C. Jordi, active in the early 20th century)
