This Venetian edition, a re-issue of the Ferrara edition of the same year, includes a dedicatory preface from the Ferrara printer Benedetto Mamorello to Lodovico Righetti, in which he refers to "il Giardino della mia stamp" from which he sends forth the bounty of the earth; preface dated Oct. 1, 1590 in Ferrara
