Spec. Coll. copy: recent vellum binding; gold-stamped cover title "Polydorus." Extensively annotated by two previous owners, one a 16th-century hand, the other a 17th-century hand. The earlier owner also began his own manuscript alphabetic collection of sayings in Italian and Latin on the blank endleaves. A fragment of this compilation, dated August 1523, survives, bound in at the end. The later owner, Christoph von Graffenberg, did his work after June 6, 1622, when he signed the front flyleaf. Purchase, Bruce McKittrick, 1993.
