Summary
First ed. of the collected prose works of Firenzuola, notable for their stylistic refinement, arranged in three parts: Discorsi de gli animal, an adaptation from the Spanish of stories from the Indian Panchatantra; Dialogo della bellezza delle donne; and Ragionamenti, containing various pieces, including Epistola in lode delle donne, Ragionamenti, eight "novelle", and Discacciamento delle nuove lettere, an attack on Trissino's ideas for the reform of the alphabet. Each of the three parts has separate t.p., and pagination; first two parts have continuous signatures (A-O8 ), while last part has separate sequence (2A-2M8)
