The Summa, the first comprehensive practical treatment of Christian ethics and sociology, is arranged in four parts (Prima-[Quarta] Pars), with a table prefixed, prepared by Joannes Regiomontanus (Joannes Molitor), and entitled, "Tabula nuper diligenter correcta totius summe beati Antonini archiepiscopi Florentini ordinis predicatorum."

In the UCLA copy, the colophon leaves for Pars Prima and Tabula have been misbound, with colophon for Tabula bound at end of Pars Prima, and colophon for Pars Prima bound at end of Tabula. (See EDIT 16 CNCE 2003 for images of all title-pages and all colophons.) Bound in 17th-century limp vellum with overlapping edges, and remnants of kid ties; old ms. spine title "Conescio quadragesimalis;" spine reinforced with a strip of printed waste. Elaborate 17th-century calligraphic monogram "FHP" on lower cover; deleted inscription of Frater Hippolytus ... [?]; 17th-century coded inscription on fly-leaves; dated inscription of "Batella Cembolo Pelloni, Turin, 22nd March, 1866." Purchase, Patrick King, 1993.
