  • Woodcuts: the Giolito phoenix device on title page, featuring the phoenix atop an urn flanked by griffins and cherubs, sprouting flames and ribbons with motto "Semper eadem;" another ribbon unfurled above the phoenix, with motto "De la mia morte eterna vita i vivo;" historiated white initials; head- and tail-pieces
