- Biographical or historical data
- Frank C. Newman is a professor of law at the University of California at Berkeley and a retired associate justice of the California Supreme Court. He joined the Boalt Hall School of Law faculty in 1946 and served as dean from 1961 to 1966. Since 1967, Professor Newman has traveled world-wide working on human rights issues and related matters for the United Nations and Amnesty International.
