- Woodcuts: title vignette of St. Benedict standing atop a pedestal, flanked by St. Placido and St. Mauro; printer's device below colophon (the Giunta fleur-de lis in red, with initials "L.A."); lavishly illustrated with 19 full-page woodcuts (some repeated) of scenes from the life of Christ, lives of the saints, and other religious vignettes; the 19 pages facing the full-page illustrations have compartmentalized woodcut borders, composed of decorative floriated panels and small Biblical vignettes and portraits of saints; numerous small illustrations throughout text; large white historiated, and smaller foliated, initials.
