Coll. copy bound with: Themistij philosophi acutissimi co[m]me[n]taria In posteriora Aristotelis, In physica, In libros de anima....Venetijs per Ioannem Hertçog, anno natiuitatis Domini MCCCCC quarto v[er]o die Septembris [24 Sept. 1500]. Bound in an early 16th-century German binding of pigskin-backed wooden boards; leather stamped in blind by floral ornament tools; manuscript spine title and date "1504;" two pair of intact brass clasps and catches; binding reinforced with a left of vellum manuscript waste, with Latin text in a spacious humanistic roman hand, in brown and red inks. Large engraved bookplate on verso of upper board of Alfred Murányi Rohó featuring cherubs and rams' heads, after a drawing by Stefano della Bella (1610-1664), engraved by A. Hartmann in Vienna, 1914; small library label in upper left corner inscribed "Hofmeister 22." In modern tan leather and beige cloth clamshell box; gold-stamped spine title "Themistius 1500. Marsilius 1500." Purchase, R. & E. Halwas, 1988.
