Note
  • Signatures: a-i8 k4
  • Woodcuts: black criblé architectural title-page; triptych of upper panel holds figures of the Virgin and Child in center, flanked by Saints Apollinaris and Peter on the left, and Saints Paul and Terence on the right; three panels in lower section contain three armorial shields: the papal crossed keys in the center one, and on either side, a shield holding a rampant lion holding a sword, beneath three fleur-de-lis. The border is probably a juvenile work of Jacopo Bertucci, called Jacopone da Faenza or dei Pittori, one of the outstanding Emilian painters of his stime; the present volume is the last of only five books printed by Faenza's prototypographer Giovanni Maria Simoneta
  • Title-page printed in red and black; text printed in small roman type; spaces left for capitals
  • Errata: recto of leaf LXXI
