Ms. acquisition note by former owner in an early 17th-century [?] hand on verso of last free endpaper, indicating book was a gift from Enea Baldesco of Perugia. Bookplate of the Aldine collection of Guido Bortolani, illustrated in brown with Aldine anchor and dolphin device, and motto "Festina lente", above caption "Ex libris Bibliothecae Aldinae." Purchase, Guido Bortolani, 1997.
