Summary expansion
Read aloud with family members, and silently alone, this vernacular version appeared dozens of times during the Renaissance, and all printings survive in but a handful of copies due to heavy use. The present edition was one of a few to be illustrated. The title woodcut is a recutting of one originally used by Bindoni in 1518
