Spec. Coll. copy: bound in old calf boards; center panel contains strapwork design outlined in gilt; gilt spine panels; all edges gilt, now faded. Title page has been trimmed to the printing, and remounted on a blank leaf, with borders and flourishes added in red ink. From the library of 17th-century English poet Richard Brathwaite, with his ownership inscription on recto of leaf which reads: "Richard Brathwayte, 12th daye of Dece[m]ber 1612;" verso of leaf 37 contains note in another hand: "Richard Brathwait ofer to God yr youth;" the names "Gilbert Rogers" and "Mary Atkinson," along with other old miscellaneous writing appear on several other leaves. Illustrated bookplate on front pastedown of Robert Ernest Cowan, featuring the sailing ship "San Carlos 1769;" stamp of "Cowan Library 1936" along inner margin of leaf 1.
