  • Engravings: engraved architectural t.p., signed by engraver Giacomo Franco, featuring a medallion portrait of translator Giovanni Andrea dell'Anguillara supported by angels at head, standing figures of Mercury and Minerva on either side, and below, the Giunta fleur-de-lys armorial device; text illustrated with 15 full-page engraved scenes, one at the head of each book, all but first numbered with roman numerals, and all signed by Franco; each plate within an elaborate border of scrollwork and grotesques; engraved "argomento" at head of each book, within architectural scrollwork border
  • Prints were also issued separately as a set of plates, without the text, but with the engraved title; cf. Mortimer and Camerini
