This book is part of a larger project about the Parkhang developed by Patrick Dowdey, without whom these pictures would have been impossible. Kora was printed at the Center for Editions, Purchase College, on Mohawk Superfine. The film and separations were produced at the Center for Book & Paper at Columbia College Chicago ... The figures are line drawings from the photographs, now converted into a font, so the pilgrims have literally turned into language, at least in this book..."
- Issued as 17 loose leaves, stacked as in a traditional Tibetan book structure between red-brown cloth-covered boards; upper board screen-printed in silver in Meador's font developed from his photographs of pilgrims; title printed in capitals and in Meador's font, in silver and black respectively on light olive-green cloth-covered rectangular title panel, inset into recessed niche on upper board; wrapped in orange Tibetan cloth, bound with striped cloth ribbon

- To express their reverence toward the Parkhang--frequently called the "Treasure House of Tibetan Culture"--Tibetan pilgrims perform "kora", or ritual clockwise circumambulation of the temple, carrying prayer wheels and spinning their mantras. Alternating with pages of colored photographs of the Parkhang pilgrims are pages containing Meador's lines of text, above which are line drawings from the photographs which Meador converted into digital font, all within black ruled borders
