Impressum Venetiis per Ioannem Tachuinum de Tridino. Mcccccxii die uigesimotertio Septembris [23 Sept. 1512]. Blind-tooled tawed pigskin binding; small center panel filled with leafy arabesques, enclosed by four exterior borders: the first contains leafy arabesques and small portrait medallions; the second contains small floral ornaments and fleurons; the third has rectangular compartments containing vignettes with captions "Ecce Ang," "Hic Est Hi," "Abraham," Mors Fro;" outermost border contains roll of interlocking curved acanthus leaves; four raised bands. Presentation inscription on title page of Georgius Vinseriis to his friend Vuolfgango Piperoni, dated Oct. 3, 1577; a later purchase note at head of leaf a2 by P[ater] Coelestinus, abbot of St. Emmeram, a Benedictine monastery in Regensburg, Bavaria.
