Imperfect copy, title page and woodcut of the Annunciation supplied in extremely skillful facsimile. Bound in 19th-century blue straight-grain morocco; gilt fillets; ornamental corner-pieces; blue marbled endpapers; inner gilt dentelles in the Greek key pattern; all edges gilt. Early monastic ownership inscription in upper margin of first page of text, possibly of the Camaldolese of Cremona [?] In modern beige cloth phase box lined in brown suede, and matching beige cloth and dark blue leather slipcase; gold-stamped spine title "Book of hours. 1497." Purchased at Christie's (London) for UCLA by Bernard H. Breslauer, June 26, 1991.
