Summary expansion
According to the Schreiber, "The Homeric centos (Homerokentra) are Greek poems on Biblical themes, composed of verses, or parts of verses, from Homer; they have traditionally been ascribed to the Roman empress Eudocia, wife of Theodosius II. The Virgilian centos include those by Proba Falconia; the third part consists of Nonnos's paraphrase of the Gospel of John, in Greek with facing Latin translation" by E. Hedeneccius
