Spec. Coll. copy: imperfect, last blank leaf (Hh4) wanting; leaves c-c3 [i.e. c2-c4] are wrongly bound after leaf a8. Original red morocco binding by McNamee, and marbled front free endpaper, bearing stamp "McNamee Binding Cambridge" in upper right corner of verso, have been removed, and housed in accompanying manila pamphlet binding. Volume has been rebound by René Patron in modern red leather, featuring gilt-ruled borders and gilt lozenge centerpiece; new red marbled endpapers. Book plated with University of California Southern Branch bookplate in honor of John Fiske by a group of seven donors, including Seeley W. Mudd, George I. Cochran, Meyer Elsasser, John R. Haynes, William L. Honnold, James R. Martin, and Mrs. Joseph F. Sartori. Bound in red morocco, by McNamee.
