  • Woodcuts: architectural title-page featuring title printed on a drape flanked by columns adorned with allegorical figures, swags of fruit and leaves, and Doni's gourd device, with motto "Meliora latent;" full-page portrait of Doni within an oval frame of olive branches (verso of leaf 2A6); full-page woodcut of Dante, Petrarca, and Boccaccio, all wearing laurel wreaths, gathered around a celestial globe, next to the Arno and lion symbol of Florence (verso of leaf 2A7); each of the three sections of the "Fiori" has special title page featuring title within floral arabesque border set in an architectural scrolled cartouche; text illustrated with 15 half-page woodcut vignettes; Marcolini's device on page 175, featuring figure of Truth being whipped by Deceit depicted with a serpent's tail; winged figure of Time graps arm of Truth; with Marcolini's motto "Veritas filia Temporis" on ribbon; historiated white initials.
