Chrysogonus attacks Hippocrates, Galen and Avicenna, who, in his mind, did not take astrological considerations sufficiently into account. Chrysogonus believed that in treating disease, the physician should take into account the patient's birth date and the time at which he fell ill, and should collate astrological diagrams for both. He lays out rules for telling what constellations of the planets cause death, how to determine the essence of the disease from the astrological diagram, etc
