In Venetia: Appresso Gio. Battista Somasco, MDLXXXIX [1589]. Bound in 18th-century vellum-backed boards and marbled paper; pigskin corners; gold-stamped paper spine label with title "Miscella;" below is blue and white paper shelf-mark label. Engraved armorial bookplate on front pastedown featuring heraldic shield bearing papal keys, and motto "Libertas," surmounted by a crown and winged dragon. Early ownership inscription on t.p. and last p. Purchase, Bennett Gilbert, 1992.
