- One of the "libros cartoneros" produced by Animita Cartonera, based in Santiago, Chile. Like the early non-profit community projects started in 2003 by Eloisa Cartonera of Buenos Aires, and in 2004 by Sarita Cartonera of Lima, Peru, Animita "cartoneros" are inexpensively-photocopied avant guard and experimental texts by well-known, as well as new, writers, bound in covers made from pieces of cardboard boxes scavenged from the garbage by "cartoneros", and hand-painted by them in unique designs. This collaborative effort of writers, artists, and "cartoneros" has made books affordable and accessible to more readers, popularized marginal literature, created new uses for discarded materials, and provided jobs for garbage scavengers
- "Ediciones Animita Cartonera, proyecto social, cultural y artístico que busca intervenir de manera creativa en la sociedad. Responsables: Ximena Ramos, Tanya Núñez, Mauricio Mena..."--Inside front cover
