  • Halftone photograph, by an unknown photographer, of the Catedral de Brasilia during construction, printed in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Fulbright Program in Brazil. Verso of the sheet on which the photograph is mounted contains a quote from Senator J.W. Fulbright, and a short history of the Fulbright Program, created in 1946 by Senator Fulbright to support educational and cultural exchange between the United States and other countries. Since the program was established in Brazil in 1957, more than 4500 Fulbright Fellowships have been awarded to Americans and Brazilians, including former president Fernando Henrique Cardoso, writers Moacyr Scliar and João Ubaldo Ribeiro, actor Paulo Betti, and dancer Ana Botafogo
