Summary
Second ed. of Folengo's strange work, "Chaos del tri per uno", a mixture of verses, dialogues, orations and narrative, written in a melange of prose and verse in Italian, Latin, and macaronic. The material is a hodge-podge of satire, spiritual biography, and symbolism. The work has been seen as an attempt by Folengo to justify his readmission to the Benedictine order which he had left a decade before the publication of the first ed. in 1527
