  • Text illustrated with 41 full-page woodblock prints (26 in volume 1, 15 in volume 2); a pencilled note in the UCLA copy reads "woodcut illustrations by a local artist."
  • Issued in traditional side-stitched binding of yellow paper and red thread; front and rear pastedowns are leaves of printed waste paper, one leaf having text in English, the other two in Korean characters; title on paper strips printed in black on each volume
