  • Title and authors from cover title
  • "Blind desire is part of a trilogy of books published for the exhibit Messages and Communications at the Mattress Factory Museum in Pittsburgh. Book artist and photographer Dennis Marsico asked three poets to address the topics of passion and politics. Jeff Thomson sidetracked the politics and made a direct path to the sensuous. Because touch is so much a part of most personal passions, Blind desire is bilingually printed in English and braille"--Printed leaf affixed to front pastedown
  • "Blind desire was letterpress printed on a Vandercook proof press on Somerset Book (copies 1 to 25) and Twinrocker handmade paper (copies 26 to 50). The text was set in Bembo and transferred onto polymer plates by Boxcar Press. The book was quarter bound with Hewit bookcalf and Fabriano Tiziano paper. The photographs were printed on Concorde Rag using archival-pigmented inks. The American Printing House for the Blind made the braille plates. Blind desire was printed and bound by the photographer in an edition limited to 50 copies in September 2005"--Colophon
  • Issued in tan leather and teal green paper boards; title label printed in brown on cream paper, inset in niche cut into upper cover; matching green endpapers
