  • In three parts. Parts I and II are undated. Part III is dated 1482, and the Additiones of Paulus Burgensis 1483. The Additiones, although often found with the Bible, are not included in its printed register, and are entered separately by Proctor and BMC

In the UCLA copy, the 2 volumes of the Bible are bound as 4, with continuous signatures between volumes 1-2, and 3-4; a 5th volume containing the Additiones of Pablo de Santa Maria, is cataloged separately with call no. *A1.P112a 1483. All volumes bound in early [contemporary?] vellum paper boards; old manuscript spine title. Contemporary ownership inscription at head of leaf a2r of volume 1: "Hic liber est d[omi]ni andrei [?];" manuscript inscription at bottom of page: Congregationis Oratorij .....proniensi." Each volume in separate red leather and beige linen clamshell box. Purchase, A. Sokol.
  • Spec. Coll. copy 2: incomplete copy; volume contains only books of the Old Testament through Job (a-c8 d-f10 g8 h12 (-h8) i-k10 l8 m-y10 2a-2l10 2m8 2n-2x10 2y12); all else wanting. Capitals added in red ink, some with additional decoration such as ornamental flourishes or leafy vines painted in green and yellow; contemporary marginal annotations. Bound in early vellum over wooden boards; concentric panels formed by intersecting quadruple-ruled borders; small blind-tooled rosettes within lozenges arranged in vertical rows; blind-tooled ribbons with the name "Paulus" in upper and lower borders; remnants of two pairs of metal clasps; bookseller's ticket on front pastedown of John Britnell of Toronto, Canada. In modern brown cloth clamshell case; gold-stamped brown leather spine label with title "BibliaLatina. Venice. 1482." Gift of Richard H. and Mary A. Rouse, 2011.
