Spec. Coll. copy: imperfect, final leaf ([rum]8) wanting. Half-binding of old vellum boards and faux "tree calf" paper; manuscript spine title; author's name on lower edges. Profusely annotated throughout by a contemporary reader. Contemporary ownership inscription on front free endpaper: "Liber francisci [et] federici del vescovo." According to manuscript note below of a later, 19th-century former owner, Francesco del Vescovo of Ferrara was a lecturer in philosophy and medicine at the University in 1588, and also the author of the extensive annotations in the book. The owner goes on to say that he purchased the book early in 1857. There is another ownership inscription in lower margin of page [1] of the Capuchins of Ferrara ("Capucinor[um] Ferrar.") Purchase, MGG, 1990.
