- Spec. Coll. copy 1: Second state of plates, but with plates X and XI (leaves C3v and C4v respectively) correctly printed. Plate XXXIII (leaf P4v) misnumbered XXXV, with the V partially erased; ms. corrections on leaves b2 and b3; cf. Mortimer. Contemporary limp vellum binding; new endpapers; ms. shelf-mark "53" on spine; ms. title in an early hand on lower edges. In modern mustard yellow cloth phase box and matching slipcase, with brown leather spine label stamped in gold with title "Vico. Augustarum imagines. 1558."
- Spec. Coll. copy 2: Second state of plates with cancel engravings for plates X and XI, and XVIII and XIX, correcting--in the case of each pair--a transposition of the two plates in the printing; ms. corrections on leaves b2 and b3. Modern vellum boards, and new endpapers; gold-stamped spine title "Vico August Imagin."; earlier [18th-century?] blue marbled edges. Ownership inscription on t.p. of the Duke of Grafton: "D. of Grafton 1784." In modern blue cloth slip case with blue grosgrain ribbon pull tab. Purchase, George Bayntun, March 1995.
