Coll. copy: bound with: Tullius De officiis, De amicitia, De senectute nec non Paradoxa eiusdem....Impressum Venetiis: Ac magis q[uam] unq[uam] aliquo alio tempore emendatum sumptu miraq[ue] diligentia Ioannis de Tridino alias Tacuini, anno salutiferae incarnationis M.D.XIIII die ultimo Februarii.... [28 Feb. 1514]. Bound in contemporary German blind-tooled half pigskin over bevelled wooden boards; two leather and metal clasps and catches along fore-edges. Ownership inscription on front endleaf of Dr. G[eorg] H[einrich] Moser, rector of the Gymnasium zu Ulm, dated 1836; bookplate on front pastedown of George Abrams. Many early manuscript notes in margins and text and inside upper cover and on endleaves, including some in the hand of Dr. Moser. Ownership stamp of the Royal Seminary or Stift at Tübingen on title page ("Semin. reg. Tübiing."). In modern tan leather and beige cloth clamshell case; gold-stamped spine title "Cicero 1514. Apuleius 1516." Purchased for Library Special Collections at Sotheby's London by Martin Breslauer, Inc., Nov. 16-17, 1989.
