  • White border around image on recto; verso, with heading "POST CARD" is divided into two sections, the left for "Correspondence," the right for "Address Only;" small letter "P" stamped in upper right corner
  • Real photo postcards are created by developing a negative on photo paper having a pre-printed postcard backing. Eastman Kodak introduced its Velox photo paper with a postcard backing in 1902. Real photo postcards remained popular until the early 1930s when the CMYK color printing process was invented
