Coll. copy: contemporary dark brown calf, paneled in blind; ornamental rolled borders containing a centerpiece lozenge of the same rolled design; blind-stamped fleurons in each corner of panel; sewing holes remain for four pairs of leather ties, one each at top and bottom, two along fore-edges. Owner's name stamped in blind in each centerpiece: "Barth." in one, "Zitell." in the other, possibly the Bartolomeo Zitelli who, in 1821, was serving as prior of the Brothers Hospitallers of St. John of God [?]; marginal ms. annotations on leaf 123, possibly by Father Zitelli, in an early 19th-century hand [?]. In modern beige cloth and brown leather clamshell box with velcro closures; gold-stamped box title "Calepino. Dictionum latinarum & graecarum". Purchase, A. Sokol, 1988.
