Summary
The celebrated astronomical tables, the Tabulae alphonsinae, extracted from the text of Libros del saber de astronomia by astronomer and mathematician king, Alfonso X, el Sabio, but actually compiled by the Cordobés astronomer, al-Zarqali (Arzachel). First printed in Venice in 1483, these were the most important tables for astronomers and navigators throughout the Middle Ages and early Renaissance
