- This is the earliest dated book issued at Toscolano on Lake Garda ("apud Lacum Benacensem") by Alessandro Paganino, who had already printed at Venice (1513-1517) and Salo.̀
- Signatures: aa8, A-Z8 AA-DD8, a-b8 chi8
- Title page printed in red; first gathering printed in black and red; remainder of text printed in black, in small roman type; spaces left for capitals, with guide letters. Paganino was known for having introduced roman fonts with italic tendencies, and a minute italic, which resembles that used at Bologna by Francesco Griffio, who may have been its designer
- Each of Special Collection's copies is slightly variant from the description in Nuovo: c.1 lacks the subtitle on the t.p.; in c.2, the N gathering has been completely reset in gothic type, with the foliation on those leaves (97-104) set in Arabic numerals.

At the end a short treatise is appended on Greek letters and diphthongs and how they came down to us," followed by the Pater Noster, Symbolum Apostolorum, etc. in Latin and Greek, and finally, a Hebrew alphabet
