  • The twelve illustrations (18 x 21 cm or smaller), executed in watercolor and ink on linen cloth, are mounted on bifolia of heavy paper glued together to form a continuous strip arranged accordion-style. Paintings are mounted on facing pages, with leaves of black-on-white floral woodblock prints--bamboo, chrysanthemums, and cherry blossoms--arranged as flaps covering the erotic scenes, affixed with glue along the outer margin of each print
  • Twelve illustrations bound accordion-style between two wooden boards, opening on the left, and leaving fore-edges and folded edges exposed; first and last three leaves of the album are blank
